IRWA and its member chapters are the only entities developed exclusively to serve the educational and continuing development needs of right of way and land acquisition professionals. We welcome anyone who is principally engaged in the acquisition, management or disposition of property in connection with community, regional or national improvements, highways, flood control projects, public utility construction, pipelines, railroads or other public development activity.
To be proficient in this complex profession requires extensive understanding of the fields of appraisal, engineering, law, negotiation, public relations, property management and public service administration. As a member of IRWA Chapter 33, you’ll receive cutting-edge solutions to industry challenges in all those areas through specialized education courses and seminars, a program of professional development, and thought-provoking forums for the exchange and advancement of ideas.
